What's On

Step back to the summer of 1970

Denim faded, riffs raw, festivals meant freedom. Two days, five stages, and an entire weekend of music, comedy, cinema, circus and spectacle woven into the Sussex countryside.

Saturday delivers heavyweight blues, psychedelic rock and high-energy live performances that bring raw power and festival fire to the arena. Sunday shifts towards soul, classic anthems and uplifting crowd-pleasing moments that close the weekend in style. All weekend, the main arena provides the defining soundtrack of the revival, while our additional performance spaces invite you to explore deeper — cult favourites, rising artists, local heroes and those unforgettable sets you never planned to see but will talk about long after the weekend ends.

Main Stages

The legends, channelled

The Plumpton Main Stage brings that golden era roaring back to life — celebrating the artists who defined a generation and the performers keeping their spirit alive today.

Think Floyd recreate the majesty of The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here in breathtaking detail. Who's Next channel the raw power of The Who's iconic live era. Dreams of Fleetwood Mac weave the harmonies and heartache of one of rock's most beloved bands.

Eric and the Claptones honour the blues-driven soul of Clapton, Cream, and Derek & The Dominos. Kozmic Pearl capture the wild spirit of Janis Joplin. Will Wilde unleashes ferocious, amp-driven harmonica blues, and Climax Blues Band bring true British blues heritage.

Modern torch-bearers Aynsley Lister, The Milk Men, The James Oliver Band, Hot Property and Burning Ropes prove great guitar music never dies — it just gets louder.

A celebration of sound, sunshine and pure live music.

Festival Cinema

A time machine on celluloid

Step inside our pop-up cinema and lose yourself in the sights and sounds of rock's most electric era. Grainy film reels flicker to life, the air hums with nostalgia, and you're transported back to the festival fields that changed music forever.

From the sun-drenched stages of Monterey '67 and the pioneering vibes of Plumpton '69, to the muddy majesty of Woodstock '69 and the awakening spirit of Glastonbury '71 — this is where legends were born and anthems became immortal.

Relive moments that defined a generation: The Beatles and The Rolling Stones rewriting the rulebook. Jimi Hendrix setting the sky on fire. Janis Joplin pouring her soul into the mic. The Doors, Free, and Led Zeppelin shaking the earth, Otis Redding bringing the heart, Fleetwood Mac, Santana, and David Bowie bending sound, style and time itself.

Pull up a deckchair, soak up the crackle of vintage film, and experience the era that made music eternal.

Comedy Tent

Where chaos, character and pure variety ruled

Before arena tours, before panel shows, before comedy became pristine and polished — the '70s was where the chaos lived. We're bringing it all back, with the Plumpton Revival Comedy Tent.

Basil Brush — A true icon of British variety as you've never seen him before.

Chas & Dave by The Spice Chavs — A raucous tribute to the sing-along legends.

Tony Law (8 Out of 10 Cats, Have I Got News For You) — Surreal, unpredictable, and one of the most inventive comics of our generation.

Plus a handpicked crew of comedians, performers, mischief-makers, and rising voices bringing depth, colour and unpredictability to the festival.

Hosted by festival legend Craig Campbell (Russell Howard's Good News) — a weekend of glorious mayhem.

Big Top

The circus is coming to Plumpton

Step back into a world of colour, wonder and true '70s spectacle as the big top spirit returns for one unforgettable weekend.

Expect Circus Parades bursting with colour and character, hands-on Circus Workshops where all ages can learn a trick or two, and a full programme of fire, danger and magic shows to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Walkabout performers bringing spontaneous joy to every corner of the festival, plus face painting and body art to help you get fully into the '70s spirit. Immerse yourself in psychedelic experiences, the weird and wonderful, and a nostalgic retro gaming area for a mid-festival breather.

Marvel at strongman feats, visual illusions, and lose yourself in the rhythm of clowns, acrobats, jugglers and countless surprise performers popping up throughout the weekend.

Bigger, bolder, brighter and groovier than ever before.

Disco

Before playlists replaced dancefloors

Before club nights had names, before disco was packaged, polished, and pinned to a decade — there was movement, there was sweat, there was release. This summer, Plumpton Revival turns the lights down low and brings the groove back where it belongs.

Step onto a dancefloor shaped by funk, soul, Motown and early disco — when basslines were bold, choruses were huge, and music moved bodies before it ever chased trends.

From the unstoppable pulse of James Brown and Stevie Wonder, to the smooth seduction of Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Barry White and Al Green — this is dance music in its purest, most joyful form.

Feel the floor shake with The Jackson 5, Kool & The Gang and The O'Jays. Lose yourself in the euphoria of Gloria Gaynor, George McCrae and ABBA.

Come dressed to dance. Come ready to move. Come lose yourself under the lights.
