Plumpton Revival has never been only about the music. It's two days of comedy, cinema, circus and spectacle woven through the Sussex countryside - and for 2027 we're building on everything that made the first one work.

The full Experience for 2027 - the cinema, the comedy tent, the big top and everything in between - lands closer to the weekend. And the first headline announcement isn't far off.
Year One
2026
How the first Revival went
The first Plumpton Revival set the tone: two days, multiple stages, and a whole weekend of music, comedy, cinema, circus and spectacle woven into the Sussex countryside. Step back to the summer of 1970 - denim faded, riffs raw, festivals meaning freedom. Here's what that first summer looked like.
The music.
Across the main stages, tribute royalty met real blues fire - Think Floyd, Who's Next, Dreams of Fleetwood Mac, and a Janis Joplin set from Kozmic Pearl that stopped people in their tracks. Saturday leaned into blues and psychedelic rock; Sunday rolled into soul and the anthems everyone knew the words to.
Beyond the stage.
A pop-up Festival Cinema ran archive footage from Monterey '67, Plumpton '69, Woodstock and Glastonbury '71. The Comedy Tent - hosted by Craig Campbell, with Basil Brush and Tony Law - served up chaos, character and pure variety. And the Plumpton Circus brought parades, fire and magic shows, walkabout performers, and workshops for every age.
Disco inferno.
The Disco kept it moving with funk, soul, Motown and early disco - James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Barry White, the lot, with a secret silent disco each night for the die hards.
Around the site.
A vintage and artisan market heavy on fashion, vibes, and tie-dye; a funfair with waltzers, and dodgems; real ale and cider bars, and a VIP covered grandstand, a private bar, a welcome drink and fast-track entry.
That was year one. 2027 builds on all of it.
